Pumpkin Pie Smoothie Bowl
From my recipe box: this is one of my go-to seasonal breakfast favorites that lasts well beyond Turkey Day!
PUMPKIN PIE SMOOTHIE BOWL
Ingredients
3/4 cup milk of choice
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1/2-3/4 cup frozen zucchini
1 Tbsp ground flaxseed
1 Tbsp almond butter
1/2 tsp turmeric + a dash of black pepper [to activate the beneficial PROPERTIES in turmeric!]
dash cinnamon + nutmeg
1 scoop Ancient Nutrition turmeric bone broth protein [can sub another protein powder]*
Directions
Add all ingredients to a high speed blender [add more liquid if making a smoothie vs. bowl]
Blend until well combined.
Optional: top with any of your favorite smoothie bowl toppers - here I did Purely Elizabeth granola, pecans & unsweetened shredded coconut.
