The Nashville food and drink scene is about 75% of the reason I love this city! I get asked all the time about my favorite places, so I thought I would list them here for you according to their location. I’ve included some non-food/drink favorites as well. Be advised, some of these might not be conducive to large groups (read: bachelorette parties), a first-time visitor, or those looking for the honky-tonk experience, so do your research before making your plans! *note: some of these spots may be temporarily closed due to the devastating tornado that went through Nashville on March 3rd.

GREAT Boozy BRUNCH SPOT.
TN BREW WORKS
NOT TECHNICALLY IN THE GULCH, but close. DELICIOUS BURGER AND BEERS.
Shed Group Fitness
Not food. If you’re looking to sweat, go here. Several other locations around town.
BARISTA PARLOR
HIP COFFEE SHOP WITH AMAZING LATTES and BISCUIT SANDWICHES. SEVERAL OTHER LOCATIONS AROUND THE CITY.

Best bushwacker in town (and you can get a half size!). Good BBQ and beers.

Burger Up
Must get: Sweet potato and/or truffle fries. Other locations in East Nashville and Cool springs.
Jeni’s Ice Cream
Have to give a shoutout to the best ice cream shop that ORIGINATED in my home state, Ohio! Several other locations around town.
Filling Station
Small watering hole with beers on tap and to-go.
Five Daughter’s Donuts
A must if you like donuts.
Peg Leg Porker Pulled Pork Sandwich with side of slaw & mac 'n cheese
DOWNTOWN
Printers Alley
Walk up and down this alley and pop into the several hole in the wall bars for live music or get fancier drinks at the newly renovated hotels like Noelle and Bobby.
Bourbon Steak
Great views of the city. You get 3 kinds of fries with different dipping sauces upon arrival.
YEehaw BRewing Co.
Huge outdoor space with games, a big screen, food, moonshine and beer.
Martin’s BBQ
This downtown location has an upstairs beer garden that’s perfect for a crew.
E & Rose Reishi Mocha Latte

Fresh plant-based eats and coffee (get the Reishi Mocha Latte). They make their own cashew-oat milk!! Several other locations around the city.

The best cookies that ever existed. Get the chocolate chip (hopefully no one reads this so they aren’t all gone when I go to get one!).

Funky vibes and yummy drinks.

Delicious brunch and dinner plus a great happy hour ($5 cava!).

Definitely in my top 5 favorite restaurants. Get the Belly Ham pizza.
Von Elrods
Fun low key brunch spot. They serve a mimosa in a beer stein that holds a full bottle of champagne. Enough said.
Rolf & Daughters
This place also falls in my top 5. We’ve celebrated a lot of milestones here, so it’s a special place to me. The menu is so unqiue. the bread is unreal. and my dad almost orders 2 half chicken entrees (so a whole chicken), every time we go because it’s that good!
O-ku
Favorite sushi in town…but don’t forget to order the wings (weird, I know, just trust me).
Avo's Kimchi Spring Rolls

Again, there’s a wait for a reason. Small menu, order at the counter, get it all if your heart desires.
Lockeland Table
Another one of my favorite wood-fired pizzas. Lots of other options aside from ‘za that are all delicious too.
Urban Cowboy
After Lockeland Table, get a drink at the bar and sit around the fire pit (if the weather cooperates).
Butcher & The Bee
Whipped Feta. No other explanation necessary.
Folk
Just as good as their sister restaurant listed above, Rolf & Daughters.
